Aerial drone footage shows the aftermath of a major storm that struck Connecticut last week.

Drone footage filmed over Sleeping Giant State Park in Hamden two days after a tornado ripped through the area shows uprooted trees.

Two residents died and more than 150,000 homes and businesses were left without power, according to local reports.

This was recorded two days after a tornado ripped through the area.

Sleeping Giant is a state park located across the street from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut.

As the video shows, trees were uprooted from the storm that left much damage in the state, as well, leaving thousands without power.
