Portland police arrest hit-and-run suspect that left 3 seriously injured

This is the moment Portland police officers arrest the suspect of a hit-and-run crash that left three people injured near Portland State University in Portland, Oregon, today (May 25).

The footage, captured at Northeast 16th Avenue and Glisan Street, shows two police officers escorting a man in handcuffs.

The filmer writes: “About 12 police cars arresting an overweight middle-aged white man.

“He had a limp and he seemed to be scared and sad, more than angry about his circumstance.”

According to reports, three women were walking on the sidewalk on the east side of SW 6th Avenue in Portland when they were struck by the driver. They are now being treated in hospital.

Portland police said they are still investigating the incident.
