This is the shocking moment an armed thief chases a woman and robs her at gunpoint.

The scary incident occurred in New Delhi on May 14 but has only recently come to light.

In CCTV footage of the incident, the woman can be seen running after she is accosted by a masked man.

She falls down after tripping on the pavement. As two pedestrians rush to her aid, the brazen thief appears again and snatches her gold chain flashing a gun.

The woman did not lodge a complaint. But the police followed up on the case on their own after the video surfaced.

They tracked down and arrested three men.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Pankaj Kumar said: “They have a fourth accomplice and we are looking for him. They worked together targeting women.”

They tracked down and arrested three men, whose only first names have been disclosed, Pinto, Kunal and Nitin.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Pankaj Kumar said: “They have a fourth accomplice and we are looking for him. They worked together targeting women.”

Sources in police said the gang had targeted another woman, who had noted down the registration number of their bike. That helped the police catch them.
