CCTV footage captured the moment a group of brave women attacked a thief that attempted to steal a motorbike from the front of a hair salon in Hanoi, Vietnam.

According to witnesses, the robber tried to unlock the motorbike of a customer inside the salon. She spotted the thief and rushed outside.

Other women came to her aid and salon owner Bao Yen used chairs to attack the thief, causing him to fall off the motorbike and flee.

Bao Yen said the thief was threatening them with a knife.

The scary incident took place in May 2018.
