A passer-by was stunned when he was on his morning walk and filmed these two cobras mating in Udon Thani, Thailand.

Yodying Chaopong said: ''This is mating season for these kind of snakes. I've been seeing one of them often last month. This time I saw both of them a couple days ago and this time when i saw it there was enough time to grab my camera.

''My friends were crying I should stay away. I see that they seem to be very much in to what they were doing so I continued to film. I thought at least if they want to get me it will take some time for them to untangle themselves first.

''That might grant me enought time to run. Eventually one of my friends scared them away they broke up and move into a pond.

''The snakes love flat areas for this. I have no plan to kill or salvage them. There's no need to harm them.''
