CCTV of unconscious woman carried out of bar before being 'gang raped and murdered'
***PICTURES AVAILABLE, SEE NEWS DESK FOR FULL COPY *** This is the chilling moment four men are seen on CCTV carrying a drunk and ''drugged'' woman out of a bar - before she was gang raped and allegedly murdered.
Nong Gift, 21, had been watching the European Cup final with friends last Saturday in Chanthaburi, Thailand, when she had too much to drink.
The cosmetics seller passed out inside the pub - with relatives claiming she was drugged - and was carried out at 2am and put in the back of a pick-up truck by four men who said they would take her home.
But the men - including one who knew her - drove her to a secluded orchard where she was repeatedly raped and allegedly beaten to death.
The gang - Nattaphong Saenkraud, 24, Patti Boonthal, 23, Panya Chan Somdee, 18, and Surasit Jaechim, 24, - allegedly confessed to police their involvement and on Wednesday were taken on a crime re-enactment.
CCTV shows them - with the help of a female friend of Nong who thought the group would take her home - carrying her out of the ''Orbit Pub'' and into the back of a truck.
Police Major General Charn Jitjunjun said: ''The victim was found dead on the same night. Four men have been arrested and confessed to their part in the crime.
''The victim was raped by four people and we believe beaten until she died. Her body was found with foam around her mouth, a nose bleed and part of her clothes on the floor.''
