Time Lapse Of Mean Slow Moving Thunderstorm Over N. Ireland - 3000 Images
This was the big storm which affected the midlands of N. Ireland on June 1st, this storm was huge, never left the area, and seemed to be almost stationary for a long time as it flooded the countryside below, we could hear continuous thunder non stop for over an hour and the actual storm itself remained for 1.5 hours in the same area, it truly was amazing and even exhibited some rotation from the base. We had a perfect view from Benbradagh mountain sitting in the sunshine and never had to move once as it rumbled constantly with lightning inside the rain and updraught. I shot this time lapse with my DSLR and 10mm wide angle lens, its a personal record for me, I shot 3000 images for this final time lapse sequence which took eight hours to render, at 1080p 24 frames/sec.
