Female driver sees ghost of child ''killed by Typhoon Haiyan''
This is the spooky moment a female driver claims she saw the ghost of child who was killed in a typhoon - haunting the same road after being roused by a storm.
Filipino model Myrtle Sarrosa was driving in Eastern Samar, Philippines, on February 15 when she spotted the bright white figure putting his hands to his face.
She was heard shrieking with fear - too afraid to stop and turn around to see what the creep apparition was.
Myrtle said they had taken the route that night because the usual road was flooded after a typhoon.
Locals believe the spirit child had been killed in the devastating 2013 Typhoon Haiyan - and had returned that night to haunt the area which was being lashed again with severe storms.
Myrtle said: ''Since this is in a far flung area, there were no street lamps and most of the area we were crossing is uninhabited.
''Around 40 minutes after midnight, we saw something weird.... There was a child wearing a bluish white shirt probably around 10 years old in the middle of the road. He was in a crouching position with his arms and hands wrapping around his head to his face. We couldn’t believe it. It wasn't normal.
''I wanted to go back and check what it was but I was too scared.
''Our volunteer driver Sir Long was telling us that it happens a lot to travellers where they see spirits that have passed away during the typhoons. Siguro it was a spirit of a child that passed away during the typhoon.
