This shocking video shows a violent mass brawl outside a grime event - as people are battered with chairs and barriers.

The graphic CCTV footage shows metal barriers and poles thrown around and people being hit with seats.

It was shown to a jury yesterday (Weds) at the trial of Hans Sojhe.

The footage focused on Sojhe's alleged role in the commotion, which involved over 100 people - and showed him throwing a metal pole into the crowd.

But while the 32-year-old admitted that it was him that threw the pole he said that he was hoping his action would disperse the crowds a little.

Speaking at Bristol Crown Court Sojhe, of St George, Bristol, said: "A barrier and pole hit me on the head. I wanted them to stop throwing things at me.
