A heavy rainstorm caused flash flooding in Guangzhou City in southern China's Guangdong Province today. (June 8)

In the video, two students stand on a plank on the submerged road and one of them uses a tree branch as a paddle to try to approach the dry land.

Vehicles are flooded and passersby hold the umbrellas to walk in the floodwater.

A bus drives on the flooded road with water going inside of it and diners eat calmly in a restaurant as water flows under their tables and chairs.

A man can be seen catching a big fish on the flooded street and dozens of fish swim in a flooded house as well as a park.

A group of people help push a car out of an underground garage on a slope, when the floods are running into it.

The heavy rain caused by Typhoon Ewiniar lasted for 21 hours.

At least 34 streets were inundated and the traffic was blocked.
