UK seaside town gets 'yarn bombed'

A bizarre video has emerged of a seafront garden in Burnham-On-Sea, UK which was ‘yarn bombed’ on Saturday.

Visitors to the garden were delighted to find an array of knitted items decorating stone columns and sculptures, from brightly coloured knitted flowers to watering cans and a woolen seagull.

The group behind this recent artwork in Burnham have chosen to remain anonymous and it is not known how many knitters were involved or how long the preparation took.

Yarn bombing is a popular form of guerrilla street art where knitted items suddenly appear in public places.
