Shocking video shows Chinese animal trainer daub lipstick on beluga whale
A Chinese animal trainer has been filmed putting lipstick on a beluga whale.
The clip, which has only recently emerged online, shows the trainer in uniform applying red lipstick to the beluga whale's mouth.
"You are prettier! You look better!" she says.
The video was captured the Sun Asia Ocean World marine park in December but has only recently emerged online.
In another video, a woman rides on the whale.
According to reports, the clip went viral in China and enraged those who have seen it online.
The Sun Asia Ocean World has apologised for the clip and confirmed that the trainer left the park in May 2018.
The beluga whale was in a good health condition, reports said.
