A sole manta ray glides through the ocean off the coast of Queensland in aerial drone footage last week.

In the video, filmed on June 13, the manta ray glides through the ocean off the coast of Fraser Island.

"I had wanted to look at whales from the beach but came across a magnificent manta ray," says the filmer, Alex Martin.

"At this time, the drone is more than 1,000 metres from the beach and at a height of 13 metres. So we can imagine the size of the animal."

Une surprise de la nature un matin au large de Fraser Island. En voulant trouver les baleines observées depuis la plage, je suis tombé sur une magnifique raie manta.

A ce moment là, le drone est à plus de 1000m de la plage et à une hauteur de 13 mètres. On peut donc s'imaginer la taille de l'animal.
