An east LA man was arrested after he was captured launching a firework at police on June 17 in the midst of Mexico fans celebrating their World Cup victory against Germany.

The video shows a man kneeling down and aiming the weapon straight ahead before running a few steps forward, bending down and firing at police officers ahead. This was filmed on Pacific Boulevard by Eddie and shared to Twitter at around 1 pm.

Elsewhere in east LA, home to a large population of Mexicans, festivities erupted all over town as fans donning sombreros, Mexican flags and green jerseys took to the streets to celebrate beating Germany 1-0.
