Fans gathered on the streets of Mexico City on June 17 to celebrate beating Germany in the World Cup match 1-0.

The video, captured and shared by Hugo De La Vega on Instagram, shows fans wearing the Mexico jersey and waving the country's flag in celebration. This was filmed at the iconic Angel of Independence landmark in downtown Mexico City.

Mexico fans appeared to have earned a name for themselves after this match – their cheering when Hirving Lozano scored the lone goal in the game set off seismic sensors, triggering an artificial earthquake.
