A brush fire was ignited at the hills just below Griffith Observatory, a popular attraction in Los Angeles, on the evening of June 19.

The video, shared to Facebook by Mary Tercero, shows a firefighting helicopter dropping water on the fire in the hills.

Griffith Observatory is known to be an attraction for tourists, who often make the trek up for a view of the famed Hollywood sign. About three to four acres of land were burned by the blaze, which was watched by a crowd of spectators as firefighters arrived on the scene. No structures were damaged and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
