But commuters in Bukittinggi, Indonesia, have been experiencing traffic delays due to a malfunctioning traffic light that stays green for less than a second.

The video, filmed on June 21, shows several vehicles at a traffic light waiting for the green light to cross a junction.

The traffic light goes green but only for a brief moment. This confuses the drivers which can be seen passing the traffic lights on amber and red.

According to the filmer, locals mentioned this traffic light has been malfunctioning for over a month.

The video recorded at the crossroads of Simpang Tembok on Thursday, June 21, 2018 was seen a number of car drivers confused when the red light changed to the green light.

Once the gas pedal stepped on the car, the driver was forced to return to the car brake because the awaited green light was only lighted for a moment.

While some other drivers continue to drive even though the red light stop sign is on. A car is also seen forced to stop his car on the zebra cross.
