Terrifying lorry shunt caught on SmartWitness dashcam
This is the terrifying moment when a lorry is caught on camera shunting a car side-on 100 metres along the motorway at 50mph. The footage shows the Honda appear alongside the HGV as it attempts to join the M25. But the Honda driver badly misjudges his filtering and his car is flipped on its side by the truck. The Honda is then shunted along the M25 on its side for 100 metres as the lorry slows down and pulls over on to the hard shoulder. Miraculously, no one was seriously hurt. The collision was captured on a SmartWitness incident camera which had been fitted to the lorry's dashboard.
