Aurora Borealis Captured from the Cairngorms National Park, Scotland.
This was a truly spectacular evening! I had been following Aurora alert apps and websites that weekend as I was aware there had been increased sun activity in the days leading up.
The evening itself was easily the strongest geomagnetic storm I have managed to capture. I was shooting for around 5 hours and saw 2 peaks in activity. I managed to capture the Red Alert which saw star gazers and aurora chasers capture this spectacular event as far down in England as Oxfordshire.
