A "drunk driver" has been filmed dangerously swerving all over a country road in Yorkshire before colliding with two cars.

Dash-cam video from a vehicle following the erratic motorist shows the car in front dangerously swerving into the lane of oncoming traffic before driving into the ditch at the side of the road, Arthington Lane, on the way to Guiseley, near Leeds.

Tour de Yorkshire cycling events were happening close by on the same day, May 4.

After several near misses, the car eventually strikes the wing mirror of one vehicle and then collides head-on.

After the crash, other motorists can be seen checking on the victims involved and making phone calls.

According to the owner of the dash-cam vehicle, who says he was following the erratic driver for 25 minutes while talking to police, no one was injured.

The driver received a 36-month driving ban and 150 hours of community service, according to the owner of the dash-cam vehicle.

I am following an intoxicated driver on Arthington Lane towards Guiseley where he is swerving all over the road and missing a few vehicles. He unfortunately then collides with two cars, one hitting the wing mirror and the other head-on. No parties involved were injured. Just shaken up.
