Two warthogs were spotted wandering around Hoedspruit town in South Africa.

The footage shows two warthogs they cross a busy intersection and bringing the traffic to a standstill.

The sight of warthogs in the streets of Hoedspruit is something most of the local residents are familiar with.

During the dry season when food is scarce, these animals leave their wilderness areas nearby and roam around the town.

The clip was filmed on June 15.

In the Limpopo province of South Africa, there is a small town called Hoedspruit. This town is one of the last stops before the entering the wilderness areas of the Kruger National Park. The video shows two warthogs very casually running through the traffic at the busiest four way intersection in town. The sight of warthogs in the streets of Hoedspruit is something most of the local people are familiar with. The video also shows that these hogs are not very popular with all local residents in town. During the dry season when food is scarce, these animals leave their wilderness areas nearby and visit the town during the day. Over time the warthogs have learned that there are many times easy pickings of food lying around when they patrol the streets and neighbourhoods.
