Police lend a hand to try to break sandcastles record in Cleethorpes
Police officers joined dozens of locals on the beach at Cleethorpes in the UK on Saturday to try to break the world record for the most sandcastles built in one hour.
There was no immediate confirmation of whether the record had been broken.
The current record stands at 2,230.
In 2016 Haven in Devon attempted to break the record but fell short.
A team in Australia also had a go earlier this year on the Gold Coast but again failed to hit the mark.
