Plumes of smoke seen over wildfire in Northern California

Footage captured thick clouds of smoke over a new wildfire in Yolo County in Northern California on July 1.

The blaze, dubbed the County Fire, broke out on the night of June 30 and has since grown to 22,000 acres. Authorities issued evacuation orders for households as the fire threatened nearby homes and structures.

Over 1,000 firefighters have attended to the fire, according to local media.

This video, uploaded to Twitter at around 2:30 pm local time, was taken along Highway 16 near the Cache Creek Casino.
