Lorry bursts into flames after crash at tunnel
A lorry burst into flames after a rear-end accident happened at a tunnel in southern China's Hunan Province on Monday (July 2).
The dramatic CCTV video, captured in Shaoyang City, shows a fireball suddenly coming out after a lorry loading mineral waste rear-ends another lorry loading cardboard that stops on the motorway due to mechanical failure.
Hundreds of people can be seen running in the tunnel to evacuate.
Black smoke comes out of the tunnel and vehicles are stuck at the entrance.
351 people were evacuated safely and only one lorry driver suffered minor injuries.
The traffic was back to normal, reports said.
