England fan whips crowd into frenzy after scaling lamppost
An England fan halfway up a lamppost jumped into the arms of fans before he was hoisted in the air and led the crowd into a chorus of "Three Lions" as police watched on.
The incident occurred late last night (July 3) in London Bridge after England knocked out Colombia in the World Cup to reach the quarter-finals.
In the video, the man can be seen working the crowd into a frenzy.
"Jump! Jump! Jump!" they urge.
He leaps and is caught by fans draped in the England flag and is then held aloft to a chorus of "Three Lions (Football's Coming Home)."
