Sarasah Gantuang Waterfall is located in Jorong Guntuang River, Kanagarian Pasia Laweh, Palupuh Subdistrict, Agam Regency, West Sumatra Province.
Sarasah Gantuang Waterfall known as the Three Level Waterfall lies between two giant valleys, whose water still flows into the middle of the Palupuah villages. This waterfall consists of three levels where the highest level of prime sarasah this has a waterfall of approximately 10 m with a stone lake that often emit a sparkling rainbow when exposed to sunlight.
For levels 2 & 3 are estimated to each have a height of between 12 to 14 meters, and along with a lake the size of a diameter of five meters. From the 2 waterfalls that popped water vapor & dew that billow like a giant mushroom. Even from that level, there was always a rumbling of water.
Make to level two, still easy to walk.
People in more or less the waterfall area are rearranging this sarasah. They believe that every disaster that can happen, the water will rumble thirst or going out to gold finned fish from basic lake. Because of that belief society did not dare to cut trees near sarasah.
It is approximately 7 kilometers from Nagari Pasia Laweh center, to Nagari Pagadih, Palupuh. Exactly in the middle of the ranks of Bukit Barisan, who climb & descend among the green valleys in the middle of the back of Sumatra.
