Two Chinese tourists wearing life jackets are hauled aboard a passing fishing trawler after their diving boat sank yesterday (July 5) in Phuket, Thailand.

Police said that 105 people - 93 tourists plus 12 crew and tour guides - were on board the Phoenix when it capsized in strong waves near the island of Koh Hae at around 5.45pm.

A second vessel carrying 30 people also capsized at around the same time.

Authorities said at least 10 people had died with a further 58 still missing as of Friday at 5pm local time.
