A brush fire broke out near Griffith Park in Los Angeles at about 2 pm on July 10.

The 25-acre fire burned northwest of the Griffith Observatory, triggering an evacuation from the popular tourist attraction to make way for fire crews. The flames were topography-driven, media reported, and fueled by the low winds and high humidity conditions.

This is the second fire near Griffiths Park to have been ignited within a month following a blaze that broke out in the same area on June 19.

No injuries were reported and the fire was 80% contained by 5 pm local time.
