This is the terrifying moment an angry tenant attacks a landlady with a burning LPG cylinder.

Luckily, the woman fled to safety and the man doused the flames himself, averting a major mishap.

The shocking incident occurred in the Allahabad district of Uttar Pradesh, India, on July 9.

Usmana Ansari, 39, who came under attack, had given her house on rent to a man, Aftaab, 35, three years ago.

Aftaab was not paying the rent regularly and used to frequently fight with her.

On the day of the incident, both had a heated argument after Usmana asked him to vacate the house.

Enraged, Aftaab decided to teach her a lesson.

He opened the valve of his LPG cylinder and set it on fire. He then carried it to Usmana’s home to throw it on her.

A CCTV footage of the incident shows Aftaab running after Usmana in a green dress carrying the burning cylinder, while she manages to flee to safety. As he cools down and douses fire, his wife comes and takes him home.

Usmana said: “He used to misbehave with me as I am a widow living with my children. I had complained against him to police earlier as well.”

“On the day of the fight, he said he will teach me a lesson. A little later I saw him running towards me with a burning cylinder. I ran into a neighbour’s home and locked myself inside,” she added.

The local police have registered a case and are looking for Aftaab.
