A video has emerged of an impressive american football pass between passengers on speedboat being driven by an ex-Formula One racer.

The footage, captured off the coast of Italy in August, shows one man throwing the ball high into the air and another catching the ball as the boat catches up with it.

“We thought it would be an awesome idea to try and throw a football from a moving boat, and chase it down and catch it before it hit the water” the filmer later wrote online.

The boat was being expertly driven by Italian former Formula One driver and five time Le Mans 24 hour winner, Emanuele Pirro who can be seen high-fiving the men at the end of the video.
