The Kantarat Golf Course is used seven days a week and open to the public, who tee off just yards from the busy runways with planes landing or taking off every two minutes.
The airport is one of the busiest in Asia and one of the oldest commercial aviation airports in the world.
It had domestic flights in Thailand and across Asia.
