Out-of-control fans looted a drugstore in Paris on July 15 as what begun as merry World Cup celebrations turned into violent pandemonium.

The video, taken at Champs Elysees, shows Publicis drugstore with a completely shattered window front as the sound of an exploding tear gas grenade is heard in the background.

According to media, 30 people wearing ski masks looted the store and left with bottles of wine and champagne.

Violence also broke out in Lyon and Marseille, where fans threw bottles and rocks at police, started fires and caused damage to property. Police responded with tear gas and water canons. Several incidences of injury were reported around the country, with one man dead after crashing into a tree in northern France and three children seriously hurt after being struck by a motorcycle during the celebrations in the town of Frouard.

France beat Croatia in the final match 4-2 earlier in the day, giving the country its second World Cup win and sparking nationwide celebrations.
