Video starts just before entering M8 (Bathgate to Livingston Junctions).
There is a Pickup on the motorway doing 50 to 60 MPH and a white car approaching from behind.
I intended to time my overtake of the Pickup as the white car passes but then i see the BMW approaching at speed and closing the gap fast.
I abort my overtake and the BMW sounds his horn as he passes and I sounded mine in return.
Both cars are driving at excessive speed and are soon gone into the distance, I pass the pickup and think no more of it.

It looks obvious in the footage but at the time I hadn't realised that the BMW had slowed in the distance and pulled behind a truck.
I guess his anger had risen after a few seconds and he decided to sort me out.

As I approach and overtake, the BMW driver beckons me to pull over onto the hard shoulder. He's leaning out his window screaming and gesturing.
I make exaggerated gestures towards the dashcam to make him aware of it and continue overtaking.

Not done yet, here comes the BMW overtaking again and as he overtakes he swerves continuously to intimidate me to pull over.

Driver overtakes and brakes heavily still trying to make me pull over, I brake so hard that the dashcam can be seen jumping on its bracket.
I overtake as the driver opens window and starts screaming.

I had intended to take the next junction but thought better of it and continued along motorway.
BMW took the junction and drove down the slip at speed.

A police report was made and resulted in a dangerous driving conviction.
Unsure of points and fines received,
