Watch rubber bath toys get destroyed with a hammer after being placed in liquid nitrogen
Australia's very own "Nutty Professor" recorded this fun footage of rubber bath toy animals being put into liquid nitrogen (-196 degrees Celsius) and then getting hit with a hammer.
Jacob Strickling, a passionate science teacher based in Gosford, New South Wales, explains: "As the rubber cools, it becomes less and less flexible or rubbery. At very low temperatures it becomes quite brittle and so when hit with a hammer, breaks into hundreds of pieces."
