A baby moose raced to catch up with its mother as they crossed a road near Grand Lake, Colorado.

In the video, a car can be seen slowing down as a mother moose waits at the side of the road on the right side of the screen.

As the mother crosses, one of the passengers in the car whispers, “Where’s the baby?”

As if on cue, the baby moose appears on the right side of the screen. It then races across to catch up with its mother.

After the baby moose crosses the road, a passenger in the car notices that the mother looked back to see if her baby had crossed.

“She turned around,” the passenger whispers.

The footage was filmed on July 6.

Just outside the Park Tanger station right past Grand Lake, Colorado.
