Passerby en route home captures sound of gunshots in Toronto shooting
At least nine people were shot in a shooting in Toronto's Greektown on July 22, including one child.
According to local media, police arrived at the scene along Danforth and Logan Avenue at around 10 pm. Victims were transported to nearby hospitals and said to have sustained significant injuries.
In this video shared to Facebook by Maja Muratovic, the shots can be heard in the background.
"People were still walking, thinking it was fireworks. But it was severe gun shots," Muratovic said. "Not sure what happened as I hurried home."
Witnesses said they heard at least 25 gunshots. Toronto police reported that the shooter had died.
