We were in Las Vegas at the Adventuredome in Circus Circus. Tzivia was almost 3 years old and had LOVED the simple carnival/carousel rides she'd been on before, so she was so stoked to get a wristband and go on as many rides as she could. Some of the rides (like the carousel) required she be with an adult, but this one she didn't need to be, so we mistakenly started with this one, without watching it in action, thinking it must be the tamest (since the carousel needed a parent and this didn't). Tzivia is all the way on the left. You can see she is SO MUCH SMALLER than all the other kids. She got so scared, and we managed to get them to stop the ride. If you freezeframe it toward the end, you see the sweetest little scared face and also the empathy in the children sitting next to her. She needed a snack and a lot of conversation to make sense of her fear, but then she went on to do the carousel 8 times and ultimately had a great time and an understanding that maybe some rides would be for when she got older.
