This was the bizarre moment a blood-covered British tourist stumbled to police - claiming an angry hooker had hit him on the head with a bottle.

The tourist, who has not been named, walked over to police at a checkpoint near the red light district in Pattaya, Thailand, at 4am this morning (Wed).

The holidaymaker - who police said was drunk - claimed he had been attacked by a bar girl.

He said she had smashed him over the head with a beer bottle leaving a five inch long gash.

First aid workers bandaged up the Brit before going to a nearby row of bars but they had all closed at 3am and the staff had left for the evening.

In the video, the Brit is heard speaking in a southern accent saying ''good boy, good boy'' to paramedics as they treat his cut.

He then adds: ''I want you to f***ing, i want you get that f***ing bitch. I know you...''

The Brit then adds: ''It's big though isn't it? Sorry. Good boy. You know what she did? A bottle on my head.''

He tries to shake hands with the policeman who quickly backs away seeing his hands are covered in blood.

Officers said that the man directed them to the girl bar used by hookers then went on his way last night after being treated. He did not have his passport or ID on him at the time.

Police Commissioner Supachai Chanalong from Pattaya Police said today (Mon): ''We asked the tourist to return to the police station today to give more details.

''He was very drunk when we found him and we could not gather all the evidence. Police went to the bar in the middle of the street where he said he was attacked by a girl working there
