Storm brings floods and hail to southern Colorado
++CLIENTS PLEASE NOTE: THIS VIDEO HAS BEEN EDITED++ Parts of southern Colorado were ravaged by severe flooding and hail on July 23.
This video, shot by Cascade resident Shawn Darling, shows hail pelting down in his backyard. Local media stated that the hailstones were as large as golf balls.
Cities further south including Fountain and Pueblo also experienced extreme weather, with authorities issuing flash flood and severe thunderstorm warnings as roads turned into raging rivers. A tornado warning that expired earlier in the evening was also in place.
