woman In India has given birth to a child who looks like a plastic. Doctors say that if the child cries, her skin may explode now almost cure.

Anita Devi from Balrampur Distric in Northern part of India has given birth to a child who looks like a plastic, but after the birth of the son, frustration has spread in the family instead of happiness. You will be stunned knowing the reason. Parents Anita Devi, 23, and Alakhram Yadav, 25, rushed their baby to a doctor just a couple of hours after delivering him at home when they realised his skin looked abnormal and he was struggling to breathe.
The woman has given birth to a child who is being told in plastic.Doctors say that if the child cries, her skin may explode. Doctors have called this disease as Collodion and this child is known as Colodion Baby.

After the baby is born, the doctors are Shocked & baffled & couldn't tell what the baby suffers, After wandering in many places, the family admitted the child to a private clinic in the city, where he was kept in the life support system. The condition, according to doctors, is caused by a rare inherited genetic disorder called lamellar ichthyosis that affects one in 600,000 people. Babies born with the permanent condition may have a tight, plastic-looking membrane on their skin, which will then peel off.
Dr Shishir Agarwal, a child specialist at Mahesh Children's Poly Clinic in Lucknow Uttar Pradesh India said: 'The baby has tight, waxy, shiny skin resembling plastic, a condition called collodion membrane.'The baby has been kept on life support system. He is improving now and his survival chances are quite good.'The condition is extremely rare. In my nine years of medical career, this is the first case of collodion baby I've come across.'This is a permanent skin condition which is very painful.
Parents of such babies need to be very careful as they are very prone to infections and to diseases particularly to water and airborne diseases.'. We have decided to not charge the Baby Family as they are porr & cant afford for medication said Dr Shishir Agarwal.
On first week of june when the news spread like fire of Collodin Baby. Dr Pankaj Agrawal, Neonatologist and Genetics researcher at Boston Children's Hospital and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School contacted the doctors in India & started the child meditation. Dr Pankaj Agrawal said Collodion baby is an extremely rare genetic condition (approximately one in a million) where the baby's skin is covered by skin sheets under tension. When that skin is shed off in a few weeks, the condition may completely resolve (10% of the cases) or may have varying degree of skin issues in future such as reduce ability to sweat causing high body temperature. By finding the underlying genetic cause we can help the family by predicting the course of disease. It can also help them with future family planning.

Alakhram Yadav 25 The father of Plastic boy said when he saw the baby he was upset & told that since my marriage for last 5 years, god has given me son but i cant understand what type of baby is born. The first day i met doctors i touched his feet & said Doctor please save my son. We are farmer & couldn't afford for his treatment. Thanks God my son is showing improvement day by day since his medication started after consultation USA doctors. The Doctors are gods for us & they didnt charge us a single penny.
