Adorable moment tourist gives thirsty baby monkey a drink
This is the adorable moment a baby monkey let a tourist know it was thirsty and persuaded him to share his bottle of water.
Mohammad Yazbeck from Saudi Arabia was visiting the Athirappilly waterfalls near Kochin in Kerala, India back in February when the tiny monkey approached and started trying to grab his water bottle.
At first, Yazbeck wasn't quite sure what the monkey wanted but when he realised it was actually thirsty, he unscrewed the top and poured the water directly into the little fellow's mouth.
"Initially, I thought the monkey was trying to attack my friend," said the filmer.
"But I was really touched when it approached Mohamad for water, gently trying to take away the water bottle," he added.
It was a special moment for Yazbeck too.
"I cannot express how I felt when the monkey was drinking from the bottle while I was holding it for the animal," he said.
"Love and compassion break all barriers of species and race and help you connect with everybody — all living things,” Yazbeck concluded.
