500-acre brush fire breaks out in central Texas
Authorities responded to a brush fire in Burnet County, northwest of Austin, Texas, on July 29.
According to local media, the fire was reported in the afternoon and forced the evacuation of about 250 visitors from nearby Inks Lake State Park, as well as 150 families from their homes.
This video, shared to Twitter, shows the fire from the state park. Uploader Kaleb Scoggins said he was at his grandparents' lake house when they noticed a billowing cloud of smoke.
The cause of the fire, which was 0% contained as of that evening, has not been confirmed.
