An Asian Games torch relay in Bukittinggi City, West Sumatra (West Sumatra), through a number of historic locations in the area on Thursday.

"Because of the historical content, Bukittinggi was chosen as the area through which the Asian Games torch flame parade in West Sumatra," said Deputy Governor of West Sumatra, Nasrul Abit in Bukittinggi, on Thursday.
