Holy Fire approaches homes in Lake Elsinore, California timelapse

Timelapse of Holy Fire from Lake Elsinore early morning of August 10th. The fire is now over 18,000 acres, doubling in size overnight. Several shots showing the fire progressing and firefighting operations near housing communities.

The footage shows flames engulfing the hill very close to homes, while helicopters drop water near firefighting crews. In another shot, fire flares across another hillside. The last shot shows fire all across the mountainside with a white picket fence and community in foreground.

The Holy Fire broke out in Orange County's Cleveland National Forest on August 6, sparking mass evacuations (21,000) as it blazed dangerously close to residences. At time of footage fire was 5% contained.

At least 1000 personnel were deployed. Arson is suspected, and Forrest Gordon Clark has been arrested and charged with aggravated arson, arson of inhabited property, arson of forest, criminal threats, resisting and deterring an executive officer and arson burning multiple structures.
