This reckless moped rider tried to squeeze through the traffic lights at the last minute - only to get clattered by oncoming bikes.

The motorcyclist was the last at the back of the queue when they sped through the light after it had changed back to red in Rayong, Thailand.

Dashcam footage from a car waiting in the queue of traffic shows the lone rider try to speed through to the other side of the crossroads junction.

But waiting motorcycles simply took off without waiting for the rider in a green poncho to reach safety - and knocked him over onto the tarmac.

Bangpgan Bordin, 31, who captured the collision his dashboard camera, said: ''This is what happened when the motorcycle rider missed the green light.

''He cut through after as it turned from yellow to red, and the waiting cars were on green. They didn't wait for him.''
