A car attempting to make a last-ditch exit on the highway spun wildly out of control, miraculously missing several drivers.

Dash-cam footage filmed on July 16 near Seattle, Washington, shows the white sedan turning off the interstate late, causing it to spin onto the grass verge and collide with a sign.

The vehicle then re-enters the highway and is narrowly missed by a truck.

The vehicle, seemingly damaged, then takes off from the scene.

The filmer, an Australian on holiday in the US, wrote: "No other vehicles were hit and that was a miracle!"

DASHCAM White vehicle in front of truck decides to make a late exit at 149. He swerves in front of a truck, then had to steer hard right to avoid a truck parked in the emergency lane. This then causes him to spin 180 in the exit lane and head straight back across the interstate right in front of a truck (taking out a sign on the way through) and then across most lanes and ends up at a stop in front of our vehicle. Realizing he is still alive, he floors the badly damaged vehicle to escape the scene. No other vehicles were hit and that was a miracle!
