Residents of San Bernardino County outside Los Angeles experienced a summer storm that brought hail and strong rains on August 16.

This video, shared to Facebook by Erin Bechtol, shows the conditions in Pinon Hills. She was at her parents' ranch house when this was filmed.

"I recorded the whole thing as we went from lightning and thunder to gusts of wind, then flash flooding, hail the size of marbles, she said. "I was concerned we were experiencing a tornado because we were in a swirling vortex of wind, rain and hail."

Authorities issued a flash flood warning just before noon as the increased monsoonal moisture brought in thunderstorms, gusty wins and flash floods. Roadway flooding was also reported in several locations.

My family and I were enjoying a sunny hot day at my parents Ranch Home in Pinon Hills, Ca. Within an hour rain clouds were coming over the mountain and I mentioned to my dad he may want to cover the hay we just removed from the barn. Only minutes went by when we watch the town below us disappear in the downpour headed our way. I recorded the whole thing as we went from lightning and thunder to gusts of wind, then flash flooding, hail the size of marbles. I was concerned we were experiencing a tornado because we were in a swirling vortex of wind, rain and hail. My parents, daughters and I raced to get the animals sheltered. It was an incredible yet scary sight.
