Violent scenes in the stands at Roma v CSKA Moscow match

Further dramatic footage has emerged of CSKA Moscow fans clashing with riot police during a match against Italian side Roma in Rome, Italy on Wednesday.

The game was stopped in the 71st minute when CSKA supporters began throwing flares at the Roma stands.

Riot police were called in to provide relief to stadium stewards and can be seen forming a barricade around the Italian supporters.

Roma went on to beat CSKA Moscow 5-1.
