A woman on a Ryanair flight from Manchester to Tenerife launched a foul-mouthed tirade against cabin crew before claiming to be an employee of rival airline easyJet.

Footage captured onboard the flight on Friday (August 17) shows the woman – who travellers claim had been drinking – hurling abuse at cabin crew.

"Don't look down your nose at me," says the woman, before repeatedly calling the staff member of the Irish budget airline a "soft t**t".

The rant was reportedly sparked after a woman on the plane called out the passenger for her use of foul language.

The filmer writes: "Upon 20 minutes to landing, she is very loud and swearing a lot due to the drink she has been consuming.

"A lady a few rows back confronts the lady about this and she responded with the hateful abuse you can see in this video."

It is not clear whether the woman is, in fact, an employee of easyJet.

Newsflare has reached out to easyJet for comment.
