Woman on Los Angeles bus refuses to give seat to man in wheelchair
A woman on a Los Angeles Metro bus refused to give her seat to a man in a wheelchair on August 22.
In the video, a man in a wheelchair can be seen entering at the front of the bus.
A woman wearing a hat refuses to give her seat to the man in the wheelchair. The man has to exit the bus to wait for another one as a result.
Other passengers tell the woman that she should give her seat to the man. And some passengers get frustrated with the woman and berate and yell at her. One passenger gives up his seat and tells her that she can have it, but she still refuses.
The bus eventually continues ahead with the woman still in her seat and the man in a wheelchair on the sidewalk, leaving passengers upset about the situation.
“I feel sorry for the poor man who’s out there,” one passenger can be heard saying.
